Happy Principal’s Day to our very own Mrs. V! 💜 From morning greetings to daily encouragement, you make a difference in the lives of our students.

Thank you for leading our school with heart, patience, and just the right amount of “principal look” when needed 😁.

We appreciate everything you do to make our school feel like home!

Grade 8 students recently took part in an engaging trip to the Water Treatment Plant and the Ministry of Natural Resources. 💦 🪵

During their visit to the plant, they learned how water in Kenora is treated and made safe for use. At the Ministry, students rotated through interactive stations that showcased different careers and highlighted the important projects carried out by MNR staff.

Connected North provides live, interactive virtual learning experiences and access to educational resources for students and teachers in remote communities, supporting them where they live.

Through the program, Indigenous students from Kindergarten - Grade 12 are offered unique opportunities to thrive.

We are so grateful for the work we do with Connected North - it provides our students with amazing experiences we don’t get living in the north! Thanks to our teachers who put in the effort to provide these opportunities for our students. 💚💜

Thanks Mrs. Julie for all you do!! 💜 we appreciate you!!

Today is Administrative Professionals' Day and we want to take a moment to thank our superstar administrative assistants in our schools and offices! These outstanding individuals are frequently the gratitude engine of any workforce; ordering lunches, organizing celebrations, sending calendar reminders, and making sure everyone shows up where they need to be. While they have what seems like an unending list of daily tasks, you'd never know it by their smiling faces and willingness to help with whatever you may need. “Thank you” hardly seems enough for all that they do! Happy Administrative Professionals' Day!

Game on, Broncos! 💜🤍

While our plans have shifted slightly, the birdy is still in the air! Our Grade 7 & 8 Badminton team has been working hard, and we aren’t letting that momentum go to waste.

This Wednesday, April 22nd, we will be hosting an Internal Broncos Tournament right here at the Beaver Brae gym! 🏠💪

We are disappointed that our friends from TA won’t be able to join us this time around as they finalize their season preparations, but we look forward to the chance to compete against them later in the year!

In the meantime, let’s bring the energy for our final badminton showdown before we transition to the field for soccer season! ⚽️🏃‍♂️

On March 11th the Beaver Brae Intermediate girls basketball team travelled to Dryden to participate in a basketball tournament. The girls demonstrated huge growth over the course of the season and their growth didn't go unnoticed during the tournament! The girls also demonstrated excellent sportsmanship both on and off the court, we're very proud!

A big thank you to Mme Elliot and Mme Bennett for coaching the girls this seasons! 🏀💜
