Spirit week coming up!! Planned by the high school leadership class in lead up to Terry Fox day!

Intermediate students will get their popcorn, popsicles, and candy bags at their lunch break!

This week is Bronco Spirit Week! This week leading up to our Terry Fox Run September 22, students will be selling various snacks and treats during lunch hour to help fundraise money for the The Terry Fox Foundation.

Attention Grade 7 and 8 Beaver Brae families! 🏔️✨

We are excited to announce our Bronco Summit program—a high-impact, student-choice experience designed to bring hands-on, experiential learning beyond the traditional classroom! 🚀📚

Students will get to choose 3 Summits across the school year (Fall 🍂, Winter ❄️, and Spring 🌸) running every other Monday. Selection took place today, where students made their top 5 choices.

Summit Options Offered:
🏒 Hockey Skills: On-ice skill development, fitness, and teamwork (Fee applies).
🎨 Arts / Ceramics: Hands-on creative exploration with art and ceramics.
🌲 Survival Skills: Outdoor preparedness, problem-solving, and survival techniques.
🧑‍🍳 Life Skills Lab (Home Economics): Everyday skills like cooking, baking, and sewing.
🛠️ Trades: Real-world experience with woodworking, welding, and small engines.
💇 Cosmetology: Hairstyling, aesthetics, barbering, and creative beauty techniques.
🎸 Guitar / Music: Learn instruments and create music (Max 20 students per session).
📣 Leadership: Build confidence, communication, and make an impact at Beaver Brae.
👟 Excellence in Sports Fundamentals: Athletic training, sports fundamentals, and physical fitness.

Well, so long summer! But wait, that means BRONCO FOOTBALL 🏈 is back!

Grade 7/8 JV football registration is this Thursday from 6-7 pm at the Beaver Brae caf. Equipment handout will take place then as well.

There will ALSO be an informational meeting if kids have questions before registration. We are hoping anyone interested and maybe not quite sure about it, will come and give it a try. Meeting will be Wednesday September 2nd in Mr. McEwen’s classroom at lunch.
