An Open Invitation to Kenaston Adults - reposted from Jenn Prpich

Adult Volleyball!! šŸ

Lots of people have expressed interest in playing, which is amazing. Because of the huge number of people and the limited playing spots, shoot me a text to ā€œpre-registerā€ and get on the interest list.

Each Tuesday night I will send out a group text to the list and the first 18 responses will get that weekā€™s spots!

Please show up if youā€™ve secured a spot. Do not send someone else in your place, I will give the spot to the next person on the list to keep it all fair.

Everyone please bring $2 per week to cover the insurance for the gym rental, BUT only the losing team will pay!!! Any remaining funds at the end of our season will be donated to Kenaston School Breakfast Fund.

We will try to continue for as long as interest lasts and while the gym is available for use. (Jenna Zdunich will be running community basketball starting in the winter as well - contact her for interest!)

Come out and join us for a burger and drop your things off prior to the first day of school.

Mrs. Gollers' comments on joining Kenaston School and getting to share the library space with others...

"The most exciting part of my new position is getting to know each child that comes through my door. Their interests, their questions, their hobbies, you name it! I love entertaining curious minds," she said.

"I would like to see the library used as a place where everyone feels welcome to come in and find a spot to work, read or just breathe. There are so many undiscovered resources in these shelves for staff and students. I look forward to showing them all and filling in any gaps! It really is a cozy, beautiful room with so much to offer."

Well, we are looking forward to getting to know you too, Mrs. G (can we call you, Mrs. G?) We love your enthusiasm! And thanks for helping make the Bingo Nite Book Swap happen.
