Online learning should be a choice, not a requirement.
Technology is an important tool, but it should never be forced on students who learn better in person. That's why is fighting to eliminate mandatory e-learning.

As Provincial OSSTF Summer Leadership concludes, we wish to thank our D26 Team for taking the time out of their summer to participate in 3 days of union training that included many moments of inspiration and enthusiasm, but also a reality check to what is ahead this year.
(P.S. This is also a preview of our D26 Red for Ed shirts being send to all members at their worksites who order them.)

As Ontario students prepare to head back to school, bargaining for a new contract remains stalled.
In a new Canadian Press story, President Martha Hradowy explains that bargaining could be moving forward now on the central issues both sides already agree belong at that table, including class sizes and workloads. Instead, the government has refused to continue those talks while trying to deny local bargaining units and school board employers the ability to negotiate key local issues at their own tables.
Our members are ready to bargain. It’s time to get back to meaningful negotiations!
