๐ŸŒฎ Taco party day!!

For our final in-class lesson, our little chefs worked together to build a full taco bar from scratch. Pickled onions, black bean & corn salsa, creamy coleslaw, and all the toppings. Safe to say there were some VERY proud chefs in the classroom today. ๐Ÿฅน

And can we talk about the gardens?! ๐ŸŒฑ Everything is growing like crazy, the worms are thriving, and the students have officially become little gardeners too.

Next stopโ€ฆ FIELD TRIP DAY! ๐Ÿšœโ˜€๏ธ

A huge THANK YOU to and the Nourishing Neighbors program for this incredibly generous $5000 donation to Chefs in the Classroom โค๏ธ

Teaching kids where food comes from, how to cook, grow, and connect through food is at the heart of everything we do, so this support means so much to our program.

Thank you for helping us continue bringing hands-on food education into classrooms across the Okanagan ๐Ÿฅ•๐ŸŽโœจ

Tiny chefs. Tiny worms. Big learning. ๐Ÿ’š

Safe to sayโ€ฆ weโ€™ve got a lot of future chefs in the making.

Next week, things get even better. Veggies, knife skills, and the arrival of our classroom compost crew ๐Ÿ›
