Polish my nuts and serve me a milkshake. Let's get after it.
I'm not the coach who lets you disappear on yourself for six weeks and calls it "grace." I'm going to ask why you missed it. Then I'm going to make sure you show up anyway without having to shame yourself in the process.
That's not mean. That's the whole point. You don't fall in love with yourself by being let off the hook. You fall in love with yourself by keeping a promise to you, especially the ones that are hard to keep.
Save this if you need someone in your corner who won't let you quit on yourself. Send it to the person in recovery who needs a coach, not a cheerleader.
Every woman I've coached in recovery swore she had a workout problem. She didn't. She never seen the other three cups.
70% of what you burn today happens before you move, just existing. 15% is walking around. 10% is digesting food. Working out is 5% of the whole day.
For a lot of women in recovery, that first cup, the 70% one, got smaller than it should've. Long-term opioid or stimulant use suppresses the HPG axis. Estrogen, progesterone, testosterone all drop. Less of those, less muscle. Muscle is what fills that biggest cup.
Build the muscle, that cup grows. Add steps, the second cup grows. Add protein, the third cup works harder for you.
You were never bad at the 5% cup. Nobody showed you the other three.
Save this so you stop blaming the gym for a cup it was never responsible for. Send it to the woman in your circle who thinks she's the only one not seeing results.
Years of flooding your brain with dopamine doesn't just wear off when the using stops. It resets what your brain considers rewarding. Food, connection, a good workout, all of it goes flat, because none of it can compete with what you trained your brain to expect.
That's why social media, sugar, p**n, anything with a quick hit becomes the easy default. It's not a character problem. It's the same circuit still looking for the fastest reward available.
The rewiring only happens if you keep doing the things that don't feel good yet, long enough for your brain to remember they're supposed to.
Boring is the work. Consistency is the medicine.
Save this for the days normal life feels like nothing. Send it to someone in recovery who thinks they're the only one who can't feel excited about their own life yet.
P.O.V ChatGPT is your sponsor in recovery.
You don't need more attention. You need to trust yourself again.
Most people chase validation because they never built self-respect without it.
The gym doesn't fix that by making you look better. It fixes it by proving to yourself you can show up, even when you don't feel like it.
Nobody's watching the rep at 6am. That's the point.
If you're rebuilding your relationship with your body in recovery, that's what I coach. Link in bio.
A deficit that's too big is why you quit last time, not weak willpower. Your body panicked and held onto fat to protect itself. Small deficit. Right macros. Consistency. That's the only combination that doesn't backfire.
Send this to someone who thinks they failed the diet when the diet failed them.
The money is gone, but it bought the version of you that doesn't wish any of it happened differently.
