I have posted so many posts to tic toc in honour of Alexi but this seems to be hitting home.

Ironically today it was reported that 138 people died in this past month in BC.

Thats 4.4 people per day… and the highest percentage died at home… not on the street.

This is not overdose… this is poisoned drugs that kill instantly.

Letter To My Son. After a weekend retreat alone in meditation and fasting I caught a glimpse of the truth of what Alexi would want me to do in Honour of him.

Be happy mom. Live your best life mom. Create your own art. Smoke those ci**rs for me. Don’t try to be dope at skateboarding… or at least be careful since you are getting old. Forever in my heart Alexi. I love you forever.

No he did not die from Cancer… it was just a shirt he loved to wear.

He always like to make a statement and he had some serious style of his very own.

But… he really did leave us and he really is gone.

The one night at a party or that next time you want to escape please don’t do it.

Forever loved and never forgotten.

We love you Alexi.

Nicholas Roman Ignozzi graduated top of his class and was a standout linebacker. While we supported him at Pitt, we later learned he’d been battling addiction. We fought for years, rehabs, setbacks, close calls. On July 23, 2020, we lost him to an overdose. My wife never recovered from the grief and passed in 2025. Now it’s just me and my dog, Jada. 💔

Fix your situation
Teach you to fix it on your own
