UBCO Nursing Course Union
A student run organization that inspires to create a nursing community at the University of British Columbia Okanagan through:
1.
Integrating all four years of nursing students in both social and academic settings.
2. Creating a visible nursing presence on campus through health awareness events, educational opportunties, and faculty involvement.
3. Fundraising and organizing nursing grad celebrations.

Advanced polls for the UBCSUO elections are open MARCH 5th 1200-1700hrs in the UNC UBCSUO theater. If you want to have a say in the upcoming student union elections please make sure you vote!
Regular voting is MARCH 7/8th.
Advanced voting is especially nice as it accommodates many of us who are in practicum!

Happy clinical to all the SN's running around the hospitals today!
EXC POSITIONS:
Chair - collaborated with the School of Nursing Faculty, run monthly meetings, collaborate with Grad committee, help organize events, and communications.
Co-chair - Collaborate with the School of Nursing Faculty and Chair to
run NCU, help run events and maintain communication with the student body.
Treasurer - is the money person, keeps track of what's coming in and go out, works closely with the Student Union Finances.
Grad Chair - Head of the grad committee, which is a sub-committee within the NCU that organizes the 4th years graduation ceremony.
Secretary - takes meeting minutes, responsible for organization of NCU including email/fb.
Reps - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year student reps, help to maintain communication within each year of Nursing. Also commit to organizing at least 1 event/ year.
