years old and I was set to go back to work. Starting my Dayhome was something I did to help my family, by being able to stay home a longer with my own kids. However, I quickly realized I had found my calling & passion in working with children & helping their families. In the last 16 years majority of my time spent working with children has been operating my Dayhome. However, I also have a lot of experience working in daycares, pre-schools, after school care and special needs programs. My passion for working with early year children can be seen through the quality care I provide to children & their families each day. I am grateful to still be operating Miss Zoeys after all these years & feel blessed to have made so many wonderful connections & bonds with many children & families over the these past 16 years. Many whom I still remain in contact with today. I hope to continue serving my Kelowna community for many more years to come. Each day is filled with a variety of play-based learning and activities, including free play, planned structured activities, games, songs, stories, art & crafts, daily outdoor play in large fenced yard, park visits & walks. Miss Zoeys Dayhome takes time for preschool basics & kindergarten preparation that include morning circle time, counting, letters, days of the week, weather, colors, months, & seasons of the year. Come join a space where your child’s unique & individual one on one needs can be met with smaller group numbers & a less stimulating environment. There are many fun enriching experiences are to be had at Miss Zoeys Dayhome, such as out trips, baking days, PJ days, hot lunch days, science experiments, & yoga that all take place monthly.
