Today, we give thanks for the teachers who share their gifts, faith, knowledge, and care with our students each day.

Through their dedication, they guide and encourage our young people, helping them discover their gifts and grow in wisdom and faith.

May God bless our teachers for the many ways they bring His light into our schools and the lives of our students.

“Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.”
— Matthew 5:16

This month, CISND schools will continue to join together in praying the Prayers of the Faithful, reflecting on the gift of God’s Word and the Eucharist as we journey through the Month of the Rosary. United in faith and charity, may the prayers of our schools rise with one voice for the people and needs of our Diocese and the world.

🧡 National Day for Truth and Reconciliation 🧡

September 30 is an opportunity to listen, learn, and reflect on the truths of our shared history and the ongoing journey toward reconciliation.

As a Catholic school community, we are called to approach this day with open hearts, remembering the children and families who have been affected by the legacy of residential schools and considering how we can continue to learn from Indigenous peoples and walk together toward reconciliation.

May we remember, listen, and carry this learning forward—not only today, but throughout the year.

✝️ Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross ✝️

Today, we celebrate the Holy Cross, through which Christ revealed His great love for us and brought us the hope of salvation.

We give thanks for our Holy Cross School community and pray that, through Christ, they may continue to grow in faith and draw closer to Him each day.

“We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you, because by your holy cross you have redeemed the world.”
