115km over 5 days canoeing along the Columbia River from Invermere to Nicholson.
Our Outdoor Education class lucked out with amazing weather, beautiful landscapes, and fantastic guides for our final overnight expedition of the year.

Where Ideas Take Shape: Inside the Aberdeen Hall Design Studio
From Grade 3 pendants to Senior School signage, the Design Studio is where our students turn “what if” into “here it is.” 🛠️
It’s more than just a room with high-tech tools; it’s a hub for experiential learning and the power of the pivot. Whether they are exploring robotics, 3D modeling, or video production, our students are discovering that the best lessons often come from the “try, fail, and refine” cycle.
Highlights from the Studio:
Cultural Connections: Grade 3s brought Haida art traditions to life by transforming digital sketches into tangible wooden pendants.
Student-Led Innovation: Our Grade 8s tackled the ultimate challenge: building a functional arcade-style claw machine from scratch.
Real-World Impact: Grade 12 student Theo took on a “professional contract” to design and produce the permanent signage for our Outdoor Learning Area.
The studio doesn’t stop when the bell rings - you’ll find it buzzing at lunch with students tinkering, coding, and creating just for the joy of it.
