Unsure how to transfer weight in the golf swing? Check this out
✔️ feel weight on the instep of your trail foot on the backswing- clearing the trail hip will help you achieve this
✔️ the weight should re centre as you start your downswing and shift into the lead side through impact
✔️ finish with weight on your lead foot- aim to have belt buckle and sternum over your lead foot at finish

Struggle with your wrists in the backswing? Not sure what you should be doing?
This is a great little device called the Wrist-X by that can help you achieve Tour level conditions and stop the slice-inducing cupped wrist in the backswing.
It’s super simple; just set the degree of extension you’re looking to achieve (PGA Tour average for a full swing is 54 degrees) and then make some swings. When you set the wrists correctly the device “clicks” to let you know you’ve nailed it.
The audio feedback is such a great tool for ingraining the correct movements 👊 check the link in my bio for a discount on your own!
Common swing faults and how to fix them ✅
✔️ flare out your lead toe at set up
✔️ don’t lock your trail elbow at set up, create a soft bend
✔️ pivot onto your trail foot through the swing
✔️ create an L shape in the Backswing
✔️ feet shoulder width, not too wide
✔️ transfer your weight into the lead side through impact, don’t lean back
✔️ clear your trail hip on the Backswing and bend the lead knee

The simplest way to check if you’re standing the correct distance from the golf ball!
✔️ Simply drop your trail hand and swing it toward the grip at your setup.
❌ if it falls closer to you, you’re standing too far away
❌ if it falls away from you, you’re too close
✅ if it falls in line with the handle, you’re at the perfect distance from the golf ball

PUTTING FUNDAMENTALS ✔️
✅ Don’t lock at the elbows; keep a slight bend and let your triceps meet the rib cage for improved stability in your stroke
✅ Ulnar deviation in your wrists instead of radial; think thumbs down on the grip and you’ll help keep the putter sitting flush
✅ Rock your shoulders to putt; don’t flick the wrists- keep them stable and locked in place
✅ FOLLOW me for simple golf tips and instruction that actually improves your game!
On average, PGA Tour Players get their wrist into 54 degrees of extension at the top of the backswing. If you’re not achieving this position, you likely have a cupped lead wrist and struggle with an open club face.
To train like the pros, I use the Wrist-X by to provide immediate feedback on the wrist conditions in my backswing.
Super simple to use:
✔️ Set to 54 degrees
✔️ Swing back and set the wrist until you hear the distinct “click”
✔️ Repeat
