Being over 50 can be the best years of your life!

It's been 2 months since my hysterectomy and I am fully back to work as a homeschool support teacher and front desk support for our Martial Arts school, along with all the household stuff for my family... Let me tell you the exhaustion is real and Im not going to lie, Im shocked. I feel good physically, my incision on the outside has healed. My inside healing seems good... but man do I feel tired and luckily, I have been able to sleep in. I am also incredibly grateful for a product I use from Young Living called Nitro. It's the perfect quick caffeine boost with out the jitters and doesnt keep me up at night. 😀 If you'd like to know more send me a message!

I love to research and learn! This was a product I had heard about for lots of different reasons but when faced with possible cancer diagnosis and then finding precancerous cells, I was grateful I listened to my gut and that I was taking it. It has great side benefits too!

Since moving my parents into care and having to sort through a ton of stuff, much of which we threw out or donated, I vowed to my daughter i would not do that to her... sell your stuff now while you still can...

If I fail to plan my life, I plan to fail in life. We (I) need to remember to spend time planning my life. I am schedule and routine driven. Are you?

At times, I am just floating along letting life take me where IT wants to, rather then ME building an incredible, awesome routine that will make me thrive.

I also need to remember to enjoy the journey rather than always looking ahead at what is coming up next, and rushing life away

~~ What are you planning for the weeks or days ahead?

I really love this version of me... I hope you get to meet her again one day soon... she was FUN, adventurous, confident... the last 6 years have really changed me... I cant fully pin point why or how but I have a lot of excuses I can throw under the bus... Covid, change of jobs, poor health, pain, loneliness, laziness, an introverted family that enjoys different activities than me... but the only person who can find her and help her come back to the surface is me... time to set more fun goals, get out more, find a tribe of people who "get me", ... I feel like for some, you have to reach a "bottom/lowest point ever" in order for it to feel bad enough to make a change and want things to be better... Have you ever reached that point? How did you get started on making the change? Are you glad you did?

Confidence.... this is a topic I have been thinking a lot about lately... Where does it COME from ... why do we NEED it ... how do we FIND it, how do we KEEP it....

There are days when I have IT ... it is shining out of every part of me... and I love it and people see it and feel it... they love being around that me... and I love being around me .... I know what to do, what to say and it just FEELS good.... I feel this way in two of the photos... can you tell which ones?

Is it my hairdo, my makeup, my inner b**ch that has come out... is it love and compassion towards others that people are seeing ... what is it actually?

Other days... it is GONE.... not there AT ALL.... it is like a little dark cloud has covered or swallowed me up ... stolen my joy, happiness or light... like the girl in the photo with her hair down...

Why is that? ... is it something someone says... it is something I say to myself.... is it always there and gets covered up in negativity or emotion....

Today... I feel like I look confident... I think it is the power ponytail I am wearing haha... What makes you feel confident? ....
