I think this is literally the biggest smile I have ever seen at our summer camps!

Can’t get enough of these athletes, keep up the hard-work! September is just around the corner and our after school program will be BUMPING!!

What a great group is summer camp kids!!! Only two summer camps left! I’m so excited that a lot of these athletes will be coming to our Hollywood and Fruit Ninja Camps too!

This award is a reflection of decades of dedication to karate, coaching, and our community. From introducing thousands of students to martial arts, to mentoring athletes, coaches, officials, and instructors, Sensei Rodney has helped shape not only better karateka, but better people.

At RHKA, we’re incredibly proud to celebrate this well-deserved recognition. Thank you, Sensei, for your passion, leadership, and the countless hours you’ve invested in helping others grow both on and off the mats.

A huge congratulations to every athlete who stepped onto the tatami. Whether you made the podium or not, it takes countless hours of training, courage, and commitment to compete. Thank you to everyone who traveled from across the country to be part of this event and helped make it such a memorable weekend.

Congratulations to all of our medalists: you should be incredibly proud of your performances and everything you accomplished.

An event like this simply doesn’t happen without an incredible team behind the scenes. Thank you to our organizing committee for the months of planning, our volunteers who kept everything running smoothly, and our referees and officials who dedicated their time and expertise throughout the weekend. Your hard work often goes unseen, but it is deeply appreciated.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the Okanagan Open such a success. We can’t wait to do it all again next year.

What an incredible way to wrap up another amazing year.
Our annual RHKA Year-End Party was the perfect way to celebrate everything we’ve accomplished together. It was a day filled with great food, games, laughter, memories, and time spent with the amazing community that makes our dojo so special.

One of the highlights of the evening was recognizing this year’s award recipients. These awards represent so much more than results, they celebrate perseverance, leadership, character, sportsmanship, dedication, and the countless hours of hard work that happen behind the scenes.

Congratulations to all of our award winners! We are incredibly proud of your achievements, but even more proud of the people you are becoming.

A huge thank you to every student, family, coach, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this year such a success. Your commitment, encouragement, and belief in one another are what make RHKA more than just a dojo,they make it a community.

Thank you to everyone who brought the most delicious food to the pot luck, to our sister dojo Thompson-Nicola Shotokan Karate for sharing this amazing day with us, and thank you to all our wonderful volunteers who came together to make it all possible!!

Here’s to an unforgettable year and an even brighter one ahead. We can’t wait to see what next season brings!
