What an incredible opportunity to celebrate Central Okanagan Family Hub

Working with the family hub has been an incredible opportunity and joy as we get to provide fresh produce for the families they serve in their community space.

really looking forward to this season ahead of us and serving more families in their community.

We had the crew from Room 272 Bar + Bites come to the farm with some of their staff to help us with harvesting our raspberries for the first time this season. They also helped out with some weeding πŸ’ͺ🏻

These gems helped out during the memorial cup as they made an asparagus risotto to help highlight and promote who we are and what we do and donate the proceeds.

This. Good. Work.

Today’s office view β˜€οΈ πŸ™ŒπŸΌ πŸ₯” 🌱

Today already had some sunshine, rain and rainbows with more wind that has carried on from yesterday.

Stay safe out there and definitely be fire smart.

It’s about that Raspberry time!

Turns out, this is the most favourite time of year for the majority of our volunteers. Hours and hours are dedicated to making sure these get into the hands of our community partners and out to their clients.

Yesterday was a hot one, and today is another one!

Seen here πŸ“Έ Dale and Sayge raking our buckwheat seed into the ground that we spread out as we aim to have a cover crop in between our squash, pumpkins and melons to suppress the weeds and put more nutrients back into the soil. πŸ’ͺ🏻
