This summer, KSBK is bringing the party to one of the most beautiful spots in the Okanagan!

Starting Friday, June 26 at 6:30 PM, join us at Frind Estate Winery for an evening of lakeside dancing, great wine, delicious food, and unforgettable summer vibes. ☀️✨

We'll start the evening with FREE beginner-friendly salsa and bachata lessons, then keep the music going with social dancing on the grass overlooking Okanagan Lake. No experience and no partner required!

Julia started dancing in 2019 with KSBKs Dancing in the Park and discovered her love for Kizomba in 2023. Since then, she’s been traveling, learning from incredible instructors, and continuing to grow through the dance. She’s been assisting and teaching since 2024, bringing a fun and encouraging energy to her classes.

We’re excited to roll into June with a full lineup of classes and socials for all levels.

Beginner Nights
Mondays are the place to start your dance journey with Beginner Salsa & Bachata classes. Whether you’re brand new or brushing up your basics, we’d love to have you join us.

Intermediate Nights
Looking for more challenge and growth? We also have Intermediate nights running on either Thursdays or Fridays throughout June. Be sure to check the calendar for the current monthly schedule.

Dancing in the Park
For the month of June, Dancing in the Park will be happening on Wednesdays! (It will return to Thursdays starting in July.)

Red Bird socials and lessons continue as usual, and we can’t wait to spend another amazing summer with this community.

Britta came from the world of ice dance, performing internationally with Disney on Ice before finding her way to KSBK’s salsa scene. With a background in PR, she stepped into the role of Director of Projects, where she curates workshops and produces standout events. Known for her colorful dance shoe collection and a perfectly timed joke in Nathan’s Kizomba classes. Connect with Britta at her instagram,

Mika began dancing last summer at KSBK’s free outdoor park lessons. She was quickly inspired by the community’s energy and encouragement. Dance has since become a central part of her life. Her favourite style is kizomba and she enjoys challenging herself with sensual bachata. Mika is a new volunteer that you will see running the door at KSBK lessons.
