Charcuterie anyone? Celebrated Family over a wonderful display of food. February is Family Month in BC and we splurged on all the fixings for finger food and an evening of grazing. Thank you dear friends for all the help and your contributions. You made this a most memorable event. As a special note. It was a special delight to have a couple rooms full of children and teens playing games and enjoying the toys.

Can’t ask for better January weather to get out with students for an afternoon of snowshoeing. +7 C. Perfect. We went up to Telemark Nordic Ski Center and did an adventurous loop. The fresh air was sensational and invigorating.
Burgers on the way home topped the day off perfectly especially given the fact that we had coupons for them. Thank you Wendy’s.

Emily and I enjoyed the privilege of celebrating a postponed “moment in forever” as dear friends Susan and Cecil were married this past Thursday afternoon. Overcoming a recent cancer diagnosis Cecil lived above the setbacks of ongoing chemotherapy and it’s ill effects to make good of his determination to marry the love of his life.
We were a small group in attendance but each of us marvelled in the strength and stamina showed by this lovely couple. Where trials abound LOVE abounds more fully.
Susan is currently on staff as a professor at Okanagan College while Cecil is winding up a 24 year career with the US Airborne division.
May God grant the two of you His every strength and favour in the years ahead.
