Tutoring With Danii

There's nothing quite like the feeling of showing kids that science is fun!

This week I asked one of my students to prepare a lesson and presentation for me based on everything he'd been learning about how to do his own research. His first attempt needed a lot of improvement, and after giving him feedback, I was blown away by what he came up with the following week! THIS is why I love what I do!

That moment when it all clicks, they go away, apply the feedback, and come back stronger than ever with a whole new set of skills... NOTHING beats this!

Danii graduated from the highest ranking university in the world in 2018. The most important thing she took away from her time at Oxford is her ability to think 'outside the box', using her God-given skillset to magnify her learning ability. Every student learns slightly differently, and every students can learn how to maximise their potential by understanding their own learning style.

Can I help you? Let's find out!

1. Students who are struggling at school, or with their homeschool curriculum, and need help understanding content, passing exams, and improving their grades.

2. Students who want to expand their learning and tackle fascinating scientific areas of interest, past what is offered through their current curriculum and grade/year level. These students have a fascination and love for science and don't want to wait until university to begin exploring their interests.

3. Students looking to apply to Oxford or Cambridge (or other similar Ivy League Universities) and want to prepare for entrance interviews.

4. Christian parents looking to introduce a biblical approach to understanding and pursuing interests in science.

Welcome to Tutoring With Danii!

I grew up in England and moved to Kelowna, BC in 2018 after graduating from the University of Oxford in Biological Sciences. I've been offering private tutoring in science since 2010.

Science is my passion, and being able to share my love for learning through tutoring has proven to be incredibly rewarding. My students leave sessions encouraged and excited about what they are learning.

Students can expect individualised learning methods, a supportive and fun learning environment. I'm good at building a strong foundation in science with my students that will go on to benefit them for life.
