For National Day of Truth & Reconciliation, we reflect on the past and strive towards ongoing education and reconciliation. 

On Saturday September 26th, Exchange Income Corporation partnered with the Edmonton Elks to sponsor their Indigenous Celebration game. More than 300 indigenous youth and their families were flown in from their communities by EIC companies, to attend the game and celebrate National Truth and Reconciliation. 

Carson Air brought 13 guests from Kwadacha Nation and Tsay Keh Dene Nation to attend the game, and we were honoured to play a small part in helping to create meaningful experiences and lasting memories for youth and families. 

Kevin Hillier, Adrian Robertson, Renee Vervaat, Brooke Coty and Bev Freathy represented Carson Air.

This weekend marks the final Canadian public performance of the CF Snowbirds at the Aero Gatineau-Ottawa airshow! For many decades, the CT-114 Tutor's have represented the dedication of the men and women in our armed forces. 

We have been privileged to share ramps & airspace numerous times with the iconic Canadian jets. For many of us, our early interests in aviation were sparked by witnessing the skill of the team through their display.

Carson Air would like to thank everyone who has contributed to the team's performances over the years - Your hard work has played a small part in bringing many of us into this industry 🇨🇦🛩

This week, we celebrate Air Ambulance Week!

Carson Air is proud to be a part of the network of fixed wing aircraft used in combination with the province's helicopter resources to provide critical air transport for patients across British Columbia.

We acknowledge the dedication of the talented Flight Paramedics who we are lucky to work with every day, as well as the hard work of our dispatchers at the Patient Transfer Coordination Centre. Our flight missions could also not be accomplished without the diligence of our maintenance crews & office staff!

Thanks to everyone involved in keeping our aircraft flying, and BC's patients safely transported 🚑✈️

Congratulations to YLW Assistant Chief Pilot John Goedhart, who is celebrating 20 years at Carson Air!

John has shown his immense dedication from starting as a flight intructor with the company, to flying the Metros & King Airs, and subsequently moving up through the training department as a base manager.

Nearly all of our pilots have had the priviledge of getting to know John through ground schools, training flights, and check rides. His optimistic attitude promotes a positive work environment, and we are grateful to have him around for support when we need it!

It's been a challenging few days for members of our community across Summerland and the surrounding areas.

Our thoughts are with everyone who is currently impacted by wildfires across the Okanagan and throughout the province. We take great pride in providing access to critical care for British Columbians, and it is heartbreaking to see our beautiful province burning.

We deeply appreciate the efforts of our employees who continue to work diligently in these conditions, as well as community members supporting those affected: Firefirghters, healthcare workers, first responders - Thank you!

Celebrating 15+ Years of Dedication at Carson Air!

Congratulations to Bryan Ebel, YYC Maintenance Production Manager, on reaching an incredible 15 years of service with Carson Air.

Bryan’s journey with Carson Air reflects his dedication, leadership, and commitment to supporting safe and reliable aircraft maintenance operations. As Production Manager in Calgary, he plays a key role in leading the YYC maintenance team, ensuring our aircraft continue to meet the highest standards of safety and service.

To mark this milestone, Bryan was presented with his 15+ year service award by Alan Wintle, alongside members of the maintenance team.
