Celebrating Flex Academy Graduate Jaxon Yastremski! 🎓💛👏

Jaxon's hopes for the future are refreshingly grounded: a nice stable job, a decently sized home 🏡, and being happy for the rest of his life!

When Jaxon looks back on his time at Flex, what stands out is the support. The help he got through the years has been a huge boost to his learning and his work ethic, and he's grateful that those resources were there whenever he needed them. It's a big part of why he is where he is now. 🙌

Fun fact: Jaxon plays multiple instruments and makes his own music. 🎸🎶

He'd like to thank his parents, his family, his friends, and his girlfriend for showing up where he needed it and pushing him to finish what he started. He's especially grateful to Mr. Wideman and Mr. Joel van Hattem — along with the many teachers (truly too many to name) who've helped him along the way. ❤️

Celebrating Flex Academy Graduate Netanel Lochkarev! 🎓🥳👏

Netanel — Nets to most — is the fun, friendly classmate who can always be counted on to make someone laugh. He might tell you he's known for his big biceps, but more accurately, he's known for his big heart. ❤️ He's been a dedicated basketball player 🏀 and a steady, reliable, trustworthy friend to the people around him.

Nets especially enjoyed his time in classes like Entrepreneurship and Outdoor Ed. 🏕️ Looking ahead, he wants to inspire people to hit the gym 🏋️ and be someone others can look up to and lean on. Flex days played a real role in shaping him — they gave him space to work and earn money while still being in school, and in his words, this is by far the best school for anyone looking for that kind of freedom.

He's especially grateful to his family and friends, Coach Giesbrecht, Mr. Eapen, Mrs. A, Mr. Tyrell, and honestly — everyone who's been part of his time here. 🙌

Celebrating Flex Academy Graduate Keziah Merz! 🎓✨

After graduation, Keziah is heading to Germany 🇩🇪 to visit family and do YWAM DTS at some point. She's hoping to spend that time focusing on her relationship with God and getting a clearer picture of what she wants her future to look like. She's not locked in on a career yet, but healthcare is on her mind. 🙏

Keziah has been at Flex since the very beginning, joining in Grade 10 after homeschooling through HCOS from Grades 2–9. What she'll carry with her is the people — staff who got to know her personally, and teachers she could tell truly wanted her to succeed in their courses and in life. She feels blessed to have spent her high school years here, and she'll miss everyone deeply. ❤️

Music has been a big part of who Keziah is — especially playing piano 🎹 and leading worship at both school and youth group. She loves using her gifts to glorify God and to help create space for others to worship together. She's also known for caring deeply about people, with a soft spot for babies and young kids. 👶 Her kindness and warmth are part of what made her, well, her, throughout her years here. 💛

Celebrating Flex Academy Graduate Noah Thompson! 👏🎓

Noah's plans after grad are refreshingly direct: become an entrepreneur and make it big! 🤩

He enjoyed his time at Flex — especially the chance to play basketball on Flex blocks. Outside of school, you'll catch him hooping with friends or out curling on the weekends. 🏀

He'd like to thank his parents for all the sacrifices they've made for him along the way. ❤️ He's also grateful to Coach Justin, Mr. Eapen, and the rest of the staff and EAs at Flex for making his high school experience such a good one. 🙌
