We're hosting a seminar!

Join us for a captivating seminar on radio astronomy with Dr. Anna Ordog, a post-doctoral researcher at the Dominion Radio Astrophysical Observatory (DRAO) and UBCO. With her extensive knowledge and experience in the field, Dr. Ordog will take you on a journey of fascinating discoveries and technological advancements in radio astronomy. She will delve into her work at the local radio observatory and provide a unique perspective on the challenges posed by human-made signals that drown out astronomical sources. This event is designed for anyone with an interest in astronomy, from first-year students to aspiring astronomers. Don't miss this opportunity to learn, discover, and be inspired as part of a community passionate about exploring the mysteries of the universe.

Signing up is free, please reserve a spot!
