Post-Baccalaureate Primary Care Nursing Certificate - School of Nursing This program will prepare Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses to assume leadership roles and practice in primary care as a member of an integrated team. Researchers from the Disability Affinity Group, Dr. Jennifer Gagnon, Kathryn Douglas-Campbell, and Dr. Dana Solomon, are collecting stories about the experiences of people with disabilities and those who experience barriers to full participation at UBC.

They invite anyone who has experienced a barrier to full participation in the UBC community when working, studying, communicating with, or visiting the University of British Columbia to participate in the project. You do not have to consider yourself to be "Disabled" or living with a disability to participate: Accessibility is about removing barriers to ensure everyone is included.

You can share your experiences by participating in a one-on-one interview, a small group discussion, and/or completing a questionnaire. You can participate in all of these ways or just choose the ones that work for you.

We remember and honour the sacrifice and service of veterans. Today, November 8, is Indigenous Veterans Day. In recognition of First Nations, Inuit and Métis people who have served and continue to serve in Canada’s armed forces, the flags on campus will be lowered. On November 11, flags will be lowered in recognition of Remembrance Day to honour those who have served and continue to serve in times of conflict and peace. We encourage all those who can, to attend a ceremony in their local community.

Congratulations, Dr. Rachel Ollivier BSN '16, on selection as one Canada's 100 Most Powerful Women by Women's Executive Network

Dr. Ollivier is a Nurse Practitioner and clinician scientist at BC Women's Hospital + Health Centrer, adjunct professor at
UBC School of Nursing, and advocate for women’s and maternal health.
