As Child Care Appreciation Month comes to a close, we want to take a moment to recognize and celebrate our incredible teachers!

Their dedication, patience, creativity, and love make a lasting difference in the lives of our students and the families we serve every day. From teaching and nurturing to encouraging growth and confidence, our teachers truly do it all.

We are beyond thankful for our amazing team and the positive impact they make each and every day. Thank you for all that you do—you are appreciated more than words can express!

We are so lucky that our Kelowna schools are just down the road from Mission Creek Park. We took advantage and linked up our pond curriculum with a real life pond study. Any time we can incorporate real life things into our curriculum, we do it!

One of our amazing Teachers received news no parent should ever receive. Her beautiful eight year old daughter, Carmelina, has been diagnosed with Leukemia. While this family bands together to beat this, let's stand behind them and support them as a community! If you are able to make a donation, please click on the link below. We celebrated Earth Day, by taking the day to reflect how we can and should treat our Mother Earth! Each of our students made an Earth Day promise to help keep our Earth healthy!

When you choose Ohana Academy, your child receives an holistic curriculum and that starts in our Toddler Classroom! Today we chose to show case some amazing Language and Literacy learning that happened in January. Our brilliant toddlers are working on these skills by reading books with teachers, exploring felt boards, playing games and making connections between items, pictures and printed words. Our students love to play, learn and explore and we love to provide enriching activities!

Our Kelowna location currently has two rare openings in our Toddler Classroom, commencing in February, with options for Full Time or Monday/Wednesday/Friday enrollment. Children are eligible to enroll as soon as they transition to one nap. To inquire, please contact us today at [email protected].
