Kara and Snickers had their best show to date at Sunny Mead Farm this weekend!

They got 6th in Dressage, 7th in Show Jumping and 5th Overall.

Plus they got 4th overall for year end awards!!

So proud of this team this summer!!

This is something most students will hear from me and one of my biggest beliefs for our barn.

It doesnt matter what level of a rider you are, every rider and horse combo will always have something to work on!!

Jess is an amazing rider and person, she always has a smile on her face and I have been so lucky this summer to ship in for lessons with her! Her and Lacey are currently competing in Germany this week at the World Equestrian Games!!

Well Miss Taya has injured herself this week. The vet came out yesterday and treated her back leg and put her on antibiotics for 10 days.

Unfortunetly this is a hard decision but I have scratched her for this weekends competition.

As a rider and owner, sometimes we need to put our horses first and this is one of those moments where its better to scratch this weekend (even though she is in first place over all) then to take a chance of wrecking her career for life.

Either way, im so very proud of how far she has come this summer competing and I hope she recovers quickly.

Kara and Snickers will still be competing this weekend!

Little Stirrups Equine had an amazing day yesterday at the Alliston Potato!
The ponies were all very well behaved!

Little Stirrups Equine made the Barrie News this past weekend!!

The annual Alliston Potato Festival is in town this weekend, which sees nearly 15,000 attendees and has celebrated local potato farmers for more than 50 years.
