Hello! 👋 Welcome to Math is Key Tutoring.

I'm Matthew. Devoted husband, father to two boys, landlord to six chickens, and math tutor to over 150 students. 👨‍👩‍👦‍👦🐔👨‍🏫

I've been tutoring elementary, high school, and university math for over a decade. I double majored in math and psychology at the University of Toronto, with the hope of becoming a high school math teacher.

But while I was a part-time tutor during my studies, I noticed how so many bright young minds were not being nurtured to their fullest potential in math by our school systems. Teachers lacked the time and resources to meet every student's learning needs. So I became a tutor full-time.

To help my students succeed and foster a love for math, I bring what is lacking in our schools today when I tutor: more time, a deeper understanding of the material, and mentorship. With this formula, over the years, I've seen some pretty impressive achievements from my students.

You don't have to hate math. You just need a good tutor.
