Selkirk College Kaslo Learning Centre

10/16/2025

Hello, community,
As the Kaslo Learning Center is closing down, there are many items that will need to find new homes.
There will be a "garage sale" for many items, but no charge for anything. Items to find new homes include: Large tables (metal legs, not collapsible), rolly office chairs, and other various items. Photos to come.
Date: Saturday, October 18th, 2025
Time: 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Hope to see you there!

EDIT: I have re-posted in a new post, as this one will not let me add photos. Sorry for the confusion. I will also share the new post with photos to the Kaslo Community Web.

Join us for this in-person course which will be guided by Carman McKay at the Silver King Campus in Nelson. Together, we'll delve into important topics such as colonization, reconciliation, and traditional knowledge. We'll also explore how these issues are reflected in contemporary art practices. Participants will gain a deeper understanding of Indigenous ways of knowing, their connection to community and the land, and their history before and after European contact, all within an arts-based learning environment.
