An interesting court case today in FBCA’s annual Mock Trial. The students represented themselves well with thoughtful arguments, strong preparation, and excellent professionalism throughout the proceedings. Proud of the way they conducted themselves and engaged so seriously with the process.

"In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."
— Colossians 2:3

With shifting catchments, overcrowded schools, and fewer teachers, Kamloops parents are asking hard questions about their children's education. Here's the most basic question to begin with: what is knowledge and how does one truly understand?

First Baptist Classical Academy is now enrolling for the 2026–2027 school year. Rooted in Scripture and the classical trivium — Grammar, Logic, and Rhetoric — FBCA trains students to think clearly, speak persuasively, and love what is true, good, and beautiful. Above all, our mission is to exalt and glorify God.

Now enrolling in Grades K–10 with 15:1 student-teacher ratio!

Call (250) 828-6222 or visit firstbaptistclassical.org.

FBCA is a fully independent school, providing a Bible-centered curriculum, following a classical method of instruction, and teaching truth, wisdom & virtue in all things.

There is no greater reward in Christian education & discipleship than seeing a student embrace the faith for themselves. This Sunday, former FBCA student Maksim Pastoor will be baptized at First Baptist Church of Kamloops, publicly declaring his faith in Jesus Christ!

When we teach our students to pursue what is true, good, and beautiful, this is what we are ultimately hoping and praying for — not just academic excellence, but transformed hearts. Maksim, we are so proud of you and so thankful to God for the work He is doing in your life. Welcome to the family, brother!

Please join us in prayer for Maksim as he takes this wonderful step of obedience.
