Life is messy, and that’s just the truth. We’ve all been trained to chase perfection, but honestly, that’s not how real life works. Every single person has messiness—they just don’t always show it. The real magic happens when you start practicing true acceptance for yourself and your life, exactly as it is. Ready to start showing yourself some radical acceptance? DM me “ACCEPTANCE” and let’s chat about what’s possible for you.

What actually works is just having radical acceptance for the messiness of life.

We’ve all been sold this idea that there’s a perfect way to live, but honestly, it’s all bu****it.

Everybody’s life is messy, and that’s not a problem.

Shame doesn’t just sit there — it corrodes.

It eats at how you show up in your relationships, how you talk to yourself, how much of your life you’re willing to actually take up.

You didn’t wake up one day and decide to shrink. Shame did that. Slowly. Quietly. Until it felt normal.

This is the work — noticing where it’s been eating away at you, and starting to grow something else in its place.

🐾😂 Who are you letting out of the cage??

Things in the mirror are not what they appear 🥰

They both suck. And neither creates a life you want to be in.

It’s so much more complicated than “you cheated, so you are a bad person”

There are numerous painful and harmful things that are often happening in a relationship that precedes an affair.

It’s just not as simple as “you are bad”

You were raised to be good.

Not good as in kind. Good as in easy to be around, agreeable, low-maintenance — the woman who reads the room and adjusts before anyone has to ask.

So you got good at it. Really good.

You learned to track what everyone around you needed and hand it over before they noticed the effort.

That wasn’t weakness. That was the assignment you were handed in a world that rewards women for performing “good.”

Here’s what nobody told you: that performance was never going to fill you up.

It was built to keep other people comfortable — not to bring you joy. So the harder you work at it, the emptier it gets, and the empty feeling makes you work harder, because you assume you’re just not doing it well enough yet.

And somewhere in there you lost the ability to answer a simple question: what do you want? Not what’s acceptable. Not what keeps the peace. What do you actually want.

Most of the women I work with can’t answer that at first. Not because something’s wrong with them — because no one ever taught them how to figure it out, and no one ever gave them permission to go looking.

That’s where we start.

Nobody sat you down and said “here’s how to hate yourself.” They didn’t have to.

I want to name something bigger here, because this isn’t just about your family or your childhood. You were raised as a girl, in a world that trains girls to be ashamed.

Think about what you were taught. Be good. Be quiet. Be agreeable. Don’t be too loud, too emotional, too much. Take care of everybody. Put yourself last — and feel guilty the second you don’t. Apologize when someone bumps into you.

Nobody had to teach you the rest. It was in the water. You’ve been drinking it your whole life. Every woman reading this has.

So of course, when your thing happened — whatever your thing is — your brain knew exactly what to do with it. Shrink. Hide. Punish. You’d been in training for that your entire life.

And here’s what I need you to hear: your shame is not proof that something is wrong with you. It’s proof that the training worked. And anything that was trained into you can be untrained.
That’s why having your own back feels so foreign — nobody ever taught us that one. That’s the skill they left out.

Because a woman who’s on her own side is a lot harder to keep small.
If you’re ready to start learning it, the discovery call link is in my bio.
