Good morning. We are looking for a guest speaker for our annual childcare conference on October 9th in Anglemont B.C. We will have approximately 23 staff in attendance. If you know of someone or have a passion for teaching others please message me. I am flexible on the time. 2 hours presentation or up to 6 hours interactive presentation.

We’ve had such a fun and busy month in our classroom! 🌟

The children enjoyed some outdoor playtime, where they practiced climbing, balancing, and taking turns on the play structure. It was wonderful to see them engaging with one another, building friendships, and developing their gross motor skills while exploring the playground.

Inside, we had a special sensory activity filled with bright green “grass,” colorful eggs, and little surprises to discover. The children used their hands to explore different textures, search for hidden items, and practice their fine motor skills. There was lots of curiosity and excitement as they uncovered treasures!

We also worked on a fun sorting activity using carrots and small baskets. The children practiced hand-eye coordination and problem-solving as they moved items from one container to another. This activity encouraged focus, independence, and early counting skills.

Overall, it was a great mix of active play, sensory exploration, and hands-on learning. We love seeing the children grow, explore, and have fun each day! 💛

Our infants have been having such a fun time exploring and learning through play lately! 💛

We’ve been focusing on simple Montessori-inspired activities that let them use their senses and follow their curiosity. From exploring different textures with soft fabrics and natural materials to practicing their grasping and coordination, they’ve been busy little learners!

Art time has also been a hit—lots of hands-on fun with safe paints and crayons. It’s been wonderful watching them experience new colors and textures (and yes, getting a little messy along the way 😊).

We’ve also been spending time outdoors, enjoying the fresh air and taking in the sights and sounds of nature. Whether it’s feeling the grass, watching the trees move, or just relaxing outside, they’ve been loving every moment.

It’s been so special to see their curiosity grow as they explore the world around them 🌿

On April 9th, our children had a wonderful opportunity to participate in a fun and interactive Pedestrian Safety Presentation.
The session was led by Sim from the Crime Prevention Team, in partnership with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and the City of Kamloops.
Through engaging activities and discussions, the children learned important road safety skills like how to cross the street safely and stay aware of their surroundings.
We are so grateful for this meaningful experience that helps keep our little learners safe while building their confidence in the community.
