This year marks an exciting new chapter for Lee's Music Store & School with our change in ownership. Being recognized by our community during this transition means so much to us. We're incredibly grateful for the encouragement and support from everyone.

It's a privilege to be trusted as stewards of such an iconic pillar of the Kamloops music community. We're excited to continue building on that legacy for the next 50+ years.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to our very first event at Lee’s Music - what an incredible way to kick things off!

Shoutout to for organizing such a thoughtful and inspiring Songwriters Round. We were so excited to welcome everyone into Kamloops’ newest creative venue. A space for workshops, clinics, group lessons, jams, intimate concerts, and all the cool, funky ideas you can dream up.

Thank you , and for sharing your music and giving us a behind-the-scenes look at your songwriting processes. It made for such a special and intimate experience.

And of course, thank you to the amazing audience! Your engagement, thoughtful questions, and willingness to share your own songwriting journeys made the night what it was.

And last but not least than you to Interior Display Services for providing the tube & drape, chairs and lights transforming this space in to a cozy little venue.

We can’t wait to host more events in the space. This is just the beginning!

Kamloops North Shore BIA

Join us for a special Writer's Round at Lee’s Music’s new location (249 Tranquille St.) on Friday, March 27!

Hosted by local singer/songwriter, Kris Ruston, this intimate evening will feature a panel of singer-songwriters sharing the stories behind their original songs and the creative process that brought them to life.

Friday, March 27th
Doors open at 6:30 PM
Workshop starts at 7:00 PM
Admission is $20 suggested donation

Music lovers will get a rare behind-the-scenes look at how songs are written, shaped, and performed. Whether you’re simply curious about songwriting, just starting to write your own songs, or have been crafting them for years, this evening promises insight, inspiration, and a deeper connection to the music.
