Another incredible year with my beautiful and talented students...a big huge THANK YOU to Doug Perry for allowing us to invade his backyard, the equipment and setup/sound...you are such a BLESSING...to all the students for being so BRAVE to get up on stage and sing your heart out...I am very PROUD of every one of you!! And one last THANK YOU to all the parents, grandparents, friends etc who pick up and drop off all year long...thank you so very much!! ❤️🎶❤️

I've actually had someone say to me," Oooh, you're talking about your students! For years I thought you were talking about your own family/children"...my students are my family...and even if they are a thousand miles away I hope they know I'm always there for them...

Yesterday was the first day back to regular lessons and two students were telling me which songs they wanted to sing...we listened to the songs on the computer and I explained why they weren't good choices (lacking a strong melody, inappropriate lyrics for their age etc)...as I was looking for a different song from my music collection they spotted Simon and Garfunkle and insisted we listen to them...they decided their songs were more challenging and had a better melody...it made me smile.
