Today's the day! The last day of Puddles and Mud Childcare. It's strange to think that its finally here. I've poured my heart and soul into this place for the past 22 years. I don't know if I'm ready. I've been in childcare for almost my entire adult life. Feeling a BIG mix of emotions right now. Excitement, sadness, guilt, happiness, trepidation, pride, all rolled into one. 🥹🥹🥹🥹

A huge thank you to my family, Ashley Robertson, Owen, and Riley, and to all my friends who have become family for supporting me all this time, I love you 🥰🥰

To my children and families throughout the years, thank you Thank You THANK YOU for allowing me to be a part of YOUR family ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ It's been an honour.

And now on to the next big adventure!

The final day with my Afterschooler Pro D/Summertime girls 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 I was honoured to be a part of their lives.

I only cried twice today 😭

And it's here. February 2025. The last few weeks with my littles, one more Pro D Day with our afterschoolers, the final month of Puddles and Mud Childcare. Mixed bag of feelings, that's for sure. Pride in my centre that I've run for 22 years, 30 years in the ECE profession, sadness because I'm going to miss my kids and families immensely, excitement for whatever the future holds, and not gonna lie - bit of fear for whatever the future holds as well!

Here's to one final month!!

This is a difficult post to write. I am very sad to announce that Puddles and Mud Childcare will be closing its doors at the end of February 2025. After 30 years in childcare, 4 different group centres, and 22 years running my own beloved family centre, I've made the incredibly hard decision to step away from the field. I cannot thank my family and friends for all their support throughout the years, you've all been so wonderful! To my daycare families, I adore each and every one of you! Thank you for trusting me to be such a big part of your children's lives! It's been an honour. I love you all so so much.

I'm looking forward to new adventures, whatever they may be. Never lose your imagination, my darlings!

Puddles and Mud Childcare will be closed this Monday the 14th for Thanksgiving. We'll see everyone on Tuesday!

We're baaaAAAAAaaack!!! It's not perfect yet and there's still things to put away/organize, but we are BACK!!! Almost 4 months of renos and 3 days of frantic unpacking and the Grand Reopening is upon us!!! Welcome back, everyone!! 🥰🥰🥰

And with this last box, the Great Unpacking is COMPLETE!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
