Happy New Year Everyone!
We are looking to creating more content and shares around our teachings with this community.
To start us off, we wanted to share a video with our Mare Kali.
When are in partnership with our horses, a main and core piece of that is knowing how to identify their medicine and honor their teaching.
There is a simple yet powerful intention I create with myself and also with clients of simply going out to the field and seeing who shows up for me.
There is wisdom and also healing in who comes forward and shares their presence with us, it doesn't have to be more than that.
In this video it was Kali one of our mares that came forward to share her medicine.
Take a watch and let us know what wisdom stands out to you, how you experience Kali.

The Journey of Equus...
For my fellow women who are called to horses.
We learn about the medicine of horses and their wisdom from following their lead.
Before I understood this path and partnered with horses I was naturally drawn to their essence.
I stood in fields with them as a young girl and then growing up in awe of what happened there.
I didn't always have language to explain it but I felt that something was happening.
Over the last 12 years we have been consciously partnering with horses to support others on their journey and also ourselves.
We were called and lead by our herd to create a space to teach others with our herd to deepen their understanding of their language.
I spent 3 years receiving training for this work of equine guided learning, but truly once I got out into the field, my horses were asking something different of me.
Not to lead or hold space for the human's version of this work, but theirs.
I had to trust their lead and where they were asking me to deepen my partnership with them and now we create the same container for others.
The Journey of Equus is an 8 week course, that comes with lifetime access and capacity to journey with us each time we run this space life.
8 modules plus bonus trainings, recordings and videos with our herd that you can come back to beyond our time together live.
This journey is for women who are called to journey more deeply with their own horses, understanding their intuitive and prey natured language for their own growth and partnership.
and this journey is for those that have stepped onto the path with horses to hold space for others and are wanting to deepen their partnership with them.
You are moved and called to explore a deeper space of partnership that puts the horse in the lead, where we begin to learn and understand:
The intuitive and prey language of horses.
How to know and read the medicine of our horses.
What our own unique path and purpose to horses is.
How to read the space and mirroring of horses for our own growth and the growth of our clients.
How to create space of learning for others with horses.
What it looks like to lead this space of partnership with the horses being in the lead.
An empowerment of a practice that calls to your unqiue way of leading.
Wherever you are in the journey this course will hold you there and will continue to deepen wth you.
We begin another live round of this journey at the end of this month.
To join us in this circle follow the link below.
We look forward to walking this path with you if you are called.
You do not have to have horses of your own because we will be journeying with our herd, you will get access to videos in support of your journey with us.

To my fellow women who lead with horses or aspire to.
At the end of this month I am running a free virtual retreat series sharing the journey of becoming an equine guided coach and building a practice around it.
I wanted to create a space to share the journey, speak about the philosophy that I teach around horse medicine, how to empower our horses as our partners and what it takes to build a successful equine guided coaching practice.
I have spent the last 12 years creating my practice, I run an 80 acre retreat with space with a herd of 28, I facilitate women's retreats, equine training retreats, healing retreats with first nations communities and leadership development with teams and leaders.
If you are currently on the path of being an equine guided facilitator or you are wanting to walk that path, there will be something in this space to support you.
It is 3 days taking place June 29-July 1st, everything is recorded if you can't make it live and it is free. Link below to join me. Hope to see you there!
Women Who Lead With Horses - A Free Virtual Retreat Series

Herd Wisdom
We can receive wisdom just be observing horses in their natural environemnt.
A herd that has space to roam and can live as naturally as horses are meant to, can offer us much wisdom and balance in our own dysfunctions as humans.
As an equine guided facilitator, my role is not to create an experience, but to bring people into the space of the herd and offer observation and support on what is being mirrored by the collective space.
There is a simplicity to us allowing ourselves to be in the space of what we are observing and what is being mirrored to us by horses, we need that medicine in it's purity.
A morning ritual video with the herd and offering some observation on what is held there.
What resonates for you? What stands out in the reflection of what you are witnessing?

Preparing the space for retreat.
This past weekend, the herd and I lead a grief retreat for a couple that was looking for support in moving through their loss.
We took a video of our process of how we prep that space with the herd and follow their lead to provide us with the wisdom and guidance of how to hold the space for our participants.
We can take the lead of our herd to show us the way, letting them show us what space is needed for those that journey with us.
Let us know your thoughts or questions while watching this video.

Truth.
Do you agree?
And do you know the difference between horses as tools vs horse as partners?
There is we believe many times where people assume or think they are in partnership with the horses but are still using them as tools.
If the horses are not part of contributing or being allowed to decide if they want to participate in an activity, they are being used as a tool.
If a horse cannot have choice on how they want to interact with people or what feels safe for them, they are being used as a tool.
When we fail to honour and recognize the teaching of our horses and what they bring as individuals to a session, they are being used as tools.
Just because a human may grow through an experience, or it is to our benefit, doesn't mean it is to the horses.
We really need to remember this and not be blind to where we are masking the idea of horses as partners when we are still using them as tools for our own growth and development.
Do you agree?

The partnership and space of teaching and learning with horses will come from our horses.
No one will teach you better than the horses will, if you follow their lead.

Learning from the Herd.
A big part of the space of our work is looking to the herd and their dynamics to offer a witnessing and mirror for us learning how to be in a greater functional environment in how we relate and work with others.
Each horse in our herd has a role of leadership, often we find our own empowerment in our leadership reflected in the herd.
Today we wanted to share about our horse Indra and the space he holds in our herd.
Where do you resonate with his medicine?
Where do you see yourself in his leadership?
How can the reflection of this offering support how you are holding yourself or viewing another and their role and dynamic in your relationship?
How can you bring this wisdom into the reflection of your own horses?
Learning about Herd Dynamics: Indra's Role — Horse Medicine Leadership Academy
One of the most impactful learnings as an equine-guided coach has come from observation and learning about the dynamics in our herd. When we offer the space and wisdom of our horses, we pay attention to, who shows up for each person, what role that horse plays in the herd and what is symbolic about

We believe deeply in elevating the teaching of each of our herd members.
Our horses each carry a medicine and teaching that they bring into our partnership.
This is a piece of Chiefs medicine. He is a champion and a reminder for us that we need to work on our personal leadership first. That is what makes a great leader.
Let us know where that resonates for you.
Do you know what your horses teach?

How do we hold sacred space for our horses in the path of equine guided facilitation?
In our latest blog post we include a video with our herd to speak to how do we create sacred space for our horses as well as our clients.
When holding horses as partners in this work it is important for us to tend to them as such and be conscious of the environment we are also creating for them.
Take a read and watch the video and let us know your thoughts!
Creating a Sacred Space for Our Horses — Horse Medicine Leadership Academy
When we are offering this space of equine facilitated learning with our horses, we must also remember to create a sacred space for them. Horses are more than just tools that we use for personal development with our clients. They are sacred beings in relationship with us and our partners in the del
