We were at the food bank yesterday morning volunteering for our community. It's always a great day at the food bank, but it was a bit harder today knowing that they are so low on supplies, we had to limit what we normally put into the hampers again 💔 so please, if you are able in anyway, please give back to the food bank (or any community organization in need). There is a picture of the typical list we make and the types/sizes of garbage bags we use to make the hampers.

My apologies for not posting lately

Today was one of our volunteer days, we volunteer every second Thursday at the Kamloops food bank. We definitely love the opportunity to give back to our community.

If you are able to donate or volunteer please do, this is an important part of our community 💝🙏

As always the food bank needs the following donations:
Pasta sauce
Canned soup
Canned beans
Canned veggies/fruit
Canned meats (tuna, salmon, etc)
Dry pasta
Dry rice/side kicks
Kraft Dinner type mac & cheese
Cookies/crackers
Cereal

Look for a donation bin near you or drop off at the food bank

Come visit us at Hills of Peace Lutheran Church today between 9-3 for a Christmas fair. We are featuring our students work along with donations from others.

Our students and teacher made art cards for a fundraiser. Available for purchase are: cards (greeting), tree ornaments, plaques, puzzles, notebooks and playing cards (52 with 2 jokers).
Please share as this is a (local) fundraiser, due date is: November 7, 2025.
Order online and send us a message with your contact info as they all come to the school for local distribution.

We're here at the Kamloops Regional Farmers' Market with our little school. Come help support us by practicing our social skills, math skills, career skills etc. all proceeds go to support our school. Half the proceeds that the kids sell their products for go to them, the other half goes to the school for supplies.
