New NUS Executive Member: Hi everyone! My name is Jacqueline (or Jacky)! I am excited to be a part of the NUS to bring more fun events to the stressful lives of us nursing students, and I look forward to meeting more likeminded people through the NUS. On the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we stand with the Indigenous peoples of Canada. On this day we honour the resilience and strength of survivors and intergenerational survivors, and we take time to remember the children who never came home. We are grateful to study and practice on the traditional land of the Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc (Kamloops campus) and the T’exelc (Williams Lake campus) within Secwépemc'ulucw, the traditional and unceded territory of the Secwépemc.
