UPDATE 🐴

It's been a while!
I thought I would give you all a little update on what the horses have been up to this year, and what Ride & Shine will look like going forward...

Mojo and Tandy both spent the winter with the Rosen family, and Mojo continued his stay with them into the Spring and Summer for him and Ellie to do their very first year of Horse 4H 🍀

Tandy got to go on a 4H trail camping trip before coming back home for the Summer and has been partially leased out while also enjoying her best life eating grass 🌾

Georgia has continued to be my main mount, and we competed in the Wild Cowgirl Race at the Williams Lake Stampede, winning our heat on Thursday and then placing 4th overall in the Finals on Sunday 🐎

Coors has been sold to a former student and is enjoying his well earned semi-retirement at a nearby boarding facility 💛

Motherhood has been life-changing in all the best and hardest ways 💞 I miss all of my students very much, but I am also thankful for the time I've had at home with Beau 🙏🏼
This Fall I will be taking a very limited amount of students for weekly lessons - if you haven't already heard from me, then I'm sorry but I likely won't be able to fit you in until next year!
I appreciate everyone's patience with me during this new chapter, and I look forward to seeing more of you again in 2027 🫶🏼

4 whole years of Ride and Shine 🥹✨

Things are looking a little different this year with a baby in tow, but I am looking forward to easing back into things and seeing familiar faces again 💕 Thank you to everyone who has been a part of the journey! 🙏🏼

Hey Ride and Shine fam, Happy New Year!
As most of you know, we're expecting a new addition at the end of January 🤍✨
Unfortunately I won't be teaching my regular Spring Break Camps in March, but I'm hoping to be back teaching lessons by April! I'm not accepting new riders at this time, but I look forward to seeing familiar faces in the Spring and introducing everyone to our newest member 🥰

Need something fun, family friendly and Christmas-y to do?? Highly recommend heading down to the North Thompson Fall Fair & Rodeo in Barriere and checking out the Christmas lights display and Christmas Village! So much hard work was put into this 💖
Hot chocolate and treats at the end will be sure to put you and your family in the Christmas Spirit! ✨

📢 Calling all parents of horse/farm kids!! 🐴
After years of teaching lessons, a huge topic that comes up all the time is kids boots + jeans, and how fast they outgrow them!

Now that I have some downtime through the winter, I've been brainstorming with the idea of starting some kind of boot & jean library/exchange.
Is this something parents would be interested in? I would love to make it as affordable as possible, while still covering my time for organizing, storing items and posting photos. Open to ideas on how this could work!! Items would be by donation - potentially donating an item would give you a credit to use on another item or exchange if it's of equal value? Hoping to keep things cheap and affordable so that it's worthwhile to donate!!

Boots and jeans must both be in good, wearable condition with no rips, tears or damage. Could potentially open up to good quality kids western shirts as well if there was enough interest...

*Unfortunately no riding helmets because they have an expiry date and there is no sure way to tell if the helmet has had a bad fall or not*

Let me know your thoughts/ideas and please reach out if you have any kids items to donate! ❤️🐴

As we head into the last week of lessons for the season, students are both welcome and encouraged to wear their costumes to their riding lesson!
Can't wait to see you all for a spook-tacular week 🎃👻🐴
