Dundas County Archives As of January 2026, Dundas County Archives will house only the records of South Dundas.

Here we are a week later and Meta has still not authorized the change of our name from Dundas County Archives to South Dundas Archives. I did submit the By-Law authorizing the change of name. Communication has been nonexistent.

The name of the archives has changed to South Dundas Archives, as a result of the Township of North Dundas dissolving the shared services agreement for the Dundas County Archives. Unfortunately, changing the name on the Face Book page has been a challenge. I have had to appeal to Meta for a "rebranding". I have submitted the By-law declaring the Dundas County Archives dissolved. I am awaiting the official change of name by Meta. It is not simply a matter of changing the name on the page. I had to make an appeal with supporting documents.

Please note that the St Lawrence Branch of the United Empire Loyalist Association, Family Resource Centre, is moving to the Iroquois Civic Centre. They are presently closed at 5 College Street, Iroquois, and will be moving soon. They will be reopened in the new location mid-August.
