Parents of Grade 10 students who will be starting MATH 10C next week:

An approved graphing calculator is required for this course.

There is a new version of the Texas Instruments graphing calculator that is NOT on the Alberta Education approved calculator list. The Texas Instruments EVO Graphing Calculator looks very similar to the approved calculators, but it is NOT approved for provincial exams, including the Grade 12 Diploma Exam.

Important School Office Update

Please be advised that the school office, which was scheduled to be open tomorrow, August 25, will be closed.

Due to circumstances related to ongoing work on the new portables, we are unable to have the office open as originally planned.

The school office will be back open on Wednesday, August 26.

Our Student Advisory Council (SAC) is looking to fill two important volunteer positions for the upcoming school year:

👩‍🍳 Hot Lunch Food Prep Lead

The previous volunteers are happy to provide mentorship and guidance to help the new volunteers get settled into the roles and ensure a smooth transition.

We are so grateful to Fenton Hereford Ranch, Tiger Contracting, and Bar Heart Ranch for once again stepping up and donating to help make a difference for our students.

Travis Aykroyd Memorial Bursary:

The Hiway 14 Breeder’s Co-op Ltd. in partnership with FCC is pleased to continue the Travis Aykroyd Memorial Bursary in 2026. This bursary serves as a tribute to Travis by providing financial support to deserving students pursuing studies in agriculture. We hope to inspire future generations to carry forward his passion for agriculture and his spirit of determination. The $2500.00 bursary is open to students who are enrolled in a post-secondary college, university or trade school in agriculture-related programs.
