We have a few spaces to fill :
Inverness County Literacy Council is offering a Family Literacy Program to qualifying families living in Inverness County. From Oct-June of the school year 2026-2027, reading/craft materials will be delivered to participating families. Parent(s) are expected to supervise and assist in the promotion of reading and family craft projects. All materials become the property of the family and do not have to be returned.
Preference will be given to families where parent(s) or care-giver(s) are interested in upgrading their own literacy skills.

We have 2 programs up and running: Learning and Work (Opportunity Knocks) The overall intent of this program is to provide learners with help to become better learners, build digital skills, improve other employability skills, possibly acquire some certifications, and/or a want for higher education.
