The environmental programs & policy manager will lead work on cleaner energy, climate change, marine, nature and biodiversity issues across the Inuvialuit Settlement Region.
This role is suited to a strategic thinker and confident leader who enjoys managing programs, guiding policy, securing funding and supporting teams. Career opportunity: Economic development advisor
The economic development advisor supports the development of a comprehensive strategic plan for the Inuvialuit Reindeer Herd Initiative under the Canadian Agricultural Strategic Priorities Program (CASPP).
They will help guide the transition of the initiative from a community food security program into a sustainable, Indigenous‑led agribusiness by working closely with community members, elders, harvesters and government partners.
This position brings together traditional Inuvialuit knowledge and modern planning practices to support long‑term food security and economic development across the ISR.
