I spent a lot of my life believing there was a version of me I needed to become before I could finally relax.
More accomplished. More successful. More respected. More financially secure.
There was always another invisible finish line.
And I crossed a lot of them.
I became a doctor. Built businesses. Collected credentials. Became a trainer. Got on stages. Built an institute.
Some of those things I am incredibly proud of.
But none of them answered the question underneath all that ambition:
When have I done enough to finally feel like I am enough?
Turns out, that was the wrong question.
Because when your worth is attached to achievement, success becomes a moving target. Every accomplishment gives you another opportunity to raise the standard.
There is always another zero.
Another room to get into.
Another title.
Another version of yourself to become.
I still have enormous ambitions. Probably bigger ones now than I have ever had.
The difference is that I’m building because I want to see what I can create with this life—not because I need what I create to tell me who I am.
That has changed the way I experience success.
I can want more without making today inadequate.
I can be proud of what I have built while still being hungry for what comes next.
I can build an extraordinary life without requiring an extraordinary life to prove that I am worthy of having one.
That, for me, has been a much bigger achievement than anything I could put after my name.
