Family Literacy Day is fast approaching!!! Join Henday, the Library and others on January 27 from 11-3pm for fun activities and even food!
Print our Bingo Card here. Mark X's in the boxes of things you do together. Drop the sheet off at Henday or the Innisfail Library Book Drop, e-mail it to [email protected] OR fax it to 403-227-2850 and enter to win a Family Literacy Basket.
As well each entry will also get a special book to be picked up later at Henday.

The Innisfail and Welcoming Community Committee is sponsoring a 4' tree at this year's Innisfail Festival of Trees. Our vision for the tree aligns with the "Welcome" mural that was done on The Coffee Cottage this past summer. We hope to have as many different cultures as possible represented on the tree with ornaments and adornments representing our diverse community. They can be handmade, purchased or something you may have at home that you feel represents your heritage. The trees will be auctioned off, and the funds raised will go to local charities focused on providing holiday cheer to families, children and seniors who otherwise cannot afford it.
If you are interested in helping bring this multicultural tree to life, don't hesitate to get in touch with us via messenger or at [email protected] or you can drop off the ornament at the Henday Assoc for Lifelong Learning located at the Innisfail Library/Learning Centre. Henday will donate a free book to anyone who donates. Please if we could receive the ornaments by Nov 23.
