Hey art friends. I’m very excited to share my latest artwork, made from last weeks creative workshop at Our Lady of Good Counsel. Together with the grade 2/3 students and teaches we collaborated to make this original artwork. The students even came up with a name! Doodletowns’, Scribblewood Park has some of the rarest, most colourful and oldest trees. Come visit and spend the day in Scribblewood Park!

This week, our Grade 2/3 students had the wonderful opportunity to spend time with talented artist, Nathan Gowsell Creative, who guided them through the art of drawing trees. 🌳 🌲

From the moment he arrived, he created a relaxed and encouraging atmosphere that helped every student feel comfortable putting pencil to paper.

What stood out most was the way he inspired our students to explore their hidden talents and embrace the creative process. He reminded them that mistakes aren't failures—they can often become something unexpected and beautiful. It was a valuable lesson not only in art, but in confidence, perseverance, and self-expression.

A heartfelt thank you, Nathan, for sharing your time, talent, and passion with our students. Your patience and encouragement made a lasting impression on everyone involved.

We are grateful for your visit and are already looking forward to welcoming you back again soon! ☺️
