Thank you thank you to all the beautiful families who have come through our doors. You trusted me with your treasures and, for that, I’ll be forever grateful.

Next September, you’ll find me teaching fulltime at Forest Hills Private School & Retreat Center.

We are excited for all our new adventures.

What an awesome, profoundly memorable, experience this has been! (for the children … but also for myself!)

Witnessing the magical metamorphosis of our five painted lady butterflies has been such a fun, joyful, hands on learning experience.

We’ve been busy these past few weeks! The sunshine feels great and we’ve been spending a lot of time outside enjoying it. The children have been planting, baking, creating, reading, exploring, and we’re also hatching ‘painted lady’ butterflies. We currently have five in their pupation/ chrysalis stage. The children (and I) have been anxiously awaiting the file phase of their metamorphosis! Hopefully this week!

Oh, a Waldorf birthday can feel so special! A day to honour and celebrate all the magic a child has brought with them into the world.

This morning was filled with tender words, treats made with love, meaningful conversations, dance parties, and parachute games.

Happy fifth bday to our awesome friend, A, today! A day to envelop him in warmth and love and excitement.

The skies cleared and the conditions were perfect to experience the solar eclipse from our yard today. What a fun and interactive way to encourage our children to sky-gaze and be curious. We introduced new vocabulary, crafted, and marvelled together at the wonder that is space!

I think I’ll remember this day for awhile. ☀️🌕

Are you looking for a part time preschool program for your young learner? Or maybe you are currently at home on a maternity/paternity leave and are interested in supplementary experiences and new friendships for your older child?

I’ve been running home school programs for almost 10 years and will be interviewing for our September 2024 enrollment soon.

Looking to round out our program with children ages 2.5-4.

Our preschool will run twice a week:
Tuesdays and Thursdays
8:30am-4:00pm
Location: Ingersoll, Ontario.

I’m a certified teacher and homeschooling mom.
Inspired by the Waldorf philosophy, I’ve created a learning environment, here in our home, full of whimsy and beauty with an emphasis on child led/ outdoor learning

We have a wonderful friend turning five this week! Celebrating a child’s birth is pretty special. It’s about honouring their life so far and recognizing the beauty they add to the world.

We baked cupcakes, made cards and candles, and decorated our celebration ring for the occasion.

We’ve been busy! The first couple months of our kindergarten alternative school year have been full of wonder and whimsy. We are ‘beta testing’ a delightful Waldorf inspired curriculum though Wondergarten. The magical stories, poetry, songs, and activities have been such a fun addition to the children’s education.

There’s something pretty special about baking bread with children (albeit, messy!) The science, the math, the collaboration, the patience, the smells… and then the magic of watching the dough rise, the fun of punching and kneeding, the anticipation before that first bite. It’s completely worth a house (and dog) full of flour 😂🫠🍞
