Dear Kindergarten Parents and Students,
Save the Date: Educator Meet & Greet Open House
Kindergarten families are invited to join us on Thursday, September 3rd, 2026, from 2:30 PM to 4:00 PM for our Drop In Educator Meet and Greet Open House. This casual, drop in event gives families an opportunity to meet their educators and see their classroom before the school year begins.
What to Bring:
• A pair of indoor shoes for your child
• An extra set of clothing (shirt, pants, underwear, socks) packed in a labelled Ziplock bag to keep at school.
Please ensure all items are clearly labelled with your child’s name.
If you are unable to attend the Open House, please send these items with your child on the first day of school.

We are excited to welcome our new Year One Kindergarten (K1) students and to welcome back our Year Two Kindergarten (K2) students for a fun-filled learning adventure!
This letter is also to inform you of the start date for your child in the fall. Please read the information carefully as the Year 1 Kindergarten (K1) children have a staggered entry. The entry dates will be as follows:
All Senior Kindergarten (K2) students start on Tuesday, September 8th and attend the rest of the week. Please bring your child to their previous year’s classroom entry door and they will be accompanied to their classroom.
Year One Kindergarten (K1) students with last names starting with A-I will start school on Wednesday, September 9th. Please bring your child to their classroom exterior door. They will be met by an educator and accompanied to their classroom if a bus student.
Year One Kindergarten (K1) students with last names starting J-Q will start school on Thursday, September 10th. Please bring your child to their classroom exterior door. They will be met by an educator and accompanied to their classroom if a bus student.
Year One Kindergarten (K1) students with last names starting Q-Z will start school on Friday, September 11th. Please bring your child to their classroom exterior door. They will be met by an educator and accompanied to their classroom if a bus student.
Once your child begins they will continue to attend.
Please Note: If your Year One or Year Two kindergarten child takes the bus, they will be met at the bus and escorted to their classroom by staff everyday.
On the first day of school your child needs: a backpack, if possible a pair of clean indoor running shoes (Velcro straps please), a set of clean clothes (labelled with your child’s name on each item) in a plastic bag, and food for two lunch breaks.
