Our third Athena’s Table was memorable in its own unique way.

It always amazes me how the right women find their way to the table at the right time.

We even expanded our geographical reach, with two women from North Bay and another from Barrie.

It takes courage to sit down with strangers and be vulnerable, and that’s exactly what happened last night.

One theme kept surfacing: stepping outside our comfort zones. Whether navigating a milestone birthday year with a bucket list, embracing a new season, pursuing a dream, or making a necessary change, it was about stretching beyond what felt familiar.

I often say, status quo has got to go — and there was no status quo mentality at this table.

Each woman brought courage, wisdom, and unique gifts. Together, we created a space where women could be seen, heard, supported, and inspired.

Because something powerful happens when women gather with open hearts and open minds.

Last night our second Athena’s Table, something beautiful happened.

Twelve women gathered, not to network, not to perform, but to speak honestly about the season they’re in and where they’re expanding next. And in the process, we were reminded how powerful it is to nurture the younger versions of ourselves who once needed encouragement, reassurance, and permission to take up space.

This is what the table is for.
