Muskoka Montessori School

The Upper Elementary class had a wonderful time at our overnight trip to PaddleFoot.

Today our Grade 7/8 Erdkinder students stepped into the role of teachers, leading French lessons for Lower and Upper Elementary classes. The students were engaged and receptive— a wonderful example of leadership and the joy of language learning in action. 🇫🇷

Yesterday was crazy hair day 🤪 it was fun to see everyone’s creativity!

A little while ago, Sensei (Matthew at the Aiki Budo Center) taught us falling, rolling, knee-walking, how to keep our balance, and Aikido magic. Aikido is not combat training; it prevents bodily harm. That said, we had a few sore muscles the next day.

The Upper El and Lower El classes explored the gymnastic apparatus and training tools with the Muskoka Limberettes.

Another April Fool’s Day is in the books. Thanks for trying to make it safe and fun for everyone.

Perfect conditions, lots of progress, and plenty of smiles all around. It was great to see everyone challenging themselves and cheering each other on.
