A message from St. Mary Church -
Good afternoon Parents!
The parish will be holding a Family Mass this Sunday at 9 am and hope you will feel warmly welcomed.
If you have toddlers that need to wander - bring them.
If you have a child that wants to sing when it is time to kneel - bring them.
If you have teenagers that are too embarrassed to sit in the same pew as you - bring them.
If you have extended family visiting on Sunday - bring them.
This Mass is for the whole family. And we hope to do this monthly.
We have a number of families helping in various ways, but we could always use more.
Would you like to bring flowers for the alter to decorate?
Do you have a child who would love to hand out bulletins after Mass?
How about someone in your family that would love to high-five Fr Dominick and say "Good Mass!"
We are also looking for more children to sing in the choir (if not this Family Mass the next one)
And we are always looking for students to be ushers, readers (must have made their Confirmation), Family greeters, families to bring the gifts to the altar for every monthly mass.
If you are interested, please let me know by email or just show up at Mass.
And if your kids are shy, that's okay! They will learn with their friends and over time they will find their own way to be part of this big parish family!
Looking forward to seeing you all this Sunday at 9 am!
Take care and God bless,
Mary Helen
