TAG... You're IT! 🎉

For the last 10 months, we've been "it"—but now it's your turn, parents! 😄 We hope you and your family have a WONDERFUL summer together!

We didn't want to leave you completely on your own, so when you start hearing "I'm bored!" (likely within the first 24 hours of summer break! 😉), we've put together a few ideas to help keep everyone busy, active, and having fun.

A reminder that report cards will be available online tomorrow morning, so be sure to check your email for details.

We'll see everyone back at school on Wednesday, September 2. Have a safe, relaxing, and adventure-filled summer!

The Grade 3 classes went to Wanuskewin where they played traditional First Nations games, learned about the tipi teachings and built one together, plus enjoyed the amazing playground.

Last week our Headstrong Team celebrated all the great work they did to support mental health in our school this year. Thanks for Homebase Humboldt for hosting us! We also had a blast at Kemway Lanes! 🎳🍦

3R made tractors as part of Horizon School Division’s spring STEM project. Students had to put together the 3D printed tractor pieces and assemble them using nuts and bolts. Some students decided to create trailers or plows for their tractors, and tested them in pushing 'rocks' or pulling a load. Many decided to paint theirs. They had a great time with this activity!

Our grade 8 classes hosted a Culture Fair this week. They did a great job sharing and celebrating who they are!

It was so great to see these familiar faces again today! Congratulations to the Class of ‘26! 🧑‍🎓

Thank you to the Humboldt Fire Department, Firefighter Mike, and Fire Helper Katherine for a wonderful visit to the fire station! Through songs, movement activities, and hands-on learning, HPS Kindergarten students learned what to do in the event of a fire, the important role firefighters play in our community, and the equipment they use to keep us safe. We appreciate the time you took to share your knowledge and make learning so much fun!

Play Gym transformed PSC's gym space into a camping themed adventure, combining strategic brain developmental movements with dramatic play and social skill development. The students didn't know that though, they were too busy moving like animals, building forts, camping and working construction to realize they were learning!"
