Pease join us in thanking the following for donating items, funds or time to make today's Sports Day amazing:
- management of Buy-Low & Save-On-Foods - they donated a lot of food plus gift cards!

- volunteers - parents/caregivers and students from SOHS (high school)
- anyone who contributed Buy-Low or Save-On-Foods receipts so that we could exchange them for gift cards (please note that this program will no longer operate for Buy-Low so, going forward, we are only collecting Save-On-Foods receipts)

June 11 - Inside-Out Day - students can wear their clothing inside out to show their school spirit

Please contact the office TODAY if your child needs a veggie dog instead of a regular hot dog on Sports Day. If you have already told the office that your child is vegetarian, they are already on the list to get a veggie hot dog.

Parents/Caregivers, please check your emails for two important messages about safety info from our District Superintendent and busing (forms are needed now for next year if you're moving or if you live outside of Silver Creek or west of Silver Creek).

Please see the attached photos. The books were found outside shortly after the book swap event. The cards were found on the same day. If you recognize them, please contact Mrs. Klassen at the office.

In collaboration with our local RCMP, the Fraser-Cascade School District will be placing a ban on e-scooters on school property. Starting Monday, June 1st, students at Silver Creek Elementary will no longer be able to bring their e-scooters to school. Please see the letter with this post regarding the district policy.
