There aren't many games based on key signatures, so I made one that uses the circle of 5ths. The goal is to collect planets (major keys) and moons (minor keys) either by moving onto the space or trying to figure out where the key is located. Sometimes players have the chance to steal a planet or moon already collected, if they can name the sharps or flats in that key. Collecting relative keys gives you extra points and ensures that the other player can't steal the planet or moon from you.

This game is similar to "Slapjack" or "Taco Cat Goat Cheese Pizza" and it's really fun! Take turns flipping cards while going through the alphabet and if the note that someone says actually gets flipped, you have to be the first one to slap your hand on it. If a middle C turns up, go for it anyway, no matter which letter is being said.

I LOVE playing games. With students, with family or by myself. I found this free game on Steam called "Sashimi Slayer" and it's really fun! You have to time your attacks perfectly to the beat. It's definitely a challenge!
